Our guest speaker for July - Othmar Furer - Trox USA
Othmar has extensive international experience within the manufacturing industry including a stint as Manufacturing Manager at a plant in Singapore. He is highly adept at creating team oriented, profitable and flexible customer-focused manufacturing environments. His professional background included total responsibility for Engineering, Tool & Die and Maintenance components at two plants. He led a conversion in a low volume, high variety environment, from batch to LEAN manufacturing. He was also instrumental in turning a traditional functional plant into a world-class facility. At this time Othmar is tasked to start up a new manufacturing facility for Trox USA in Cumming GA.
